Self-confidence and leadership skills are some of the most important skills a teenager can develop to ensure success in post-secondary school, work and life. Developing these skills at summer camp is the perfect way to spend a summer. This 3-week program is designed for a teenager who loves the outdoors and would like to develop strong leadership skills. During the first week of training, participants will participate in interesting and interactive staff training workshops and activities designed to challenge and motivate them to reach their leadership potential. Programming will include communication, conflict resolution, goal setting, teamwork, program planning and healthy child development. Following the initial training week participants will have a week shadowing an experienced counsellor during a day camp week and during an overnight camp week. The second 2 weeks can be selected out of the available weeks of camp. This program opens the opportunity for successful candidates to apply to be part of the full-time camp staff team in 2024. This program also has the opportunity to gain volunteer hours.
Open to Grade 9 students (15 by December 31st, 2023), LEAD participants will earn:
- Emergency First Aid
- ORCKA Canoeing Level 1
- 3 weeks of camp experience
- Certificate of completion
Emergency First Aid One-Day Course

This Emergency First Aid course is facilitated by the Bluewater First Aid & CPR Training Centre. The program is a one-day program that offers youth basic first aid training with a Certification that is valid for 3 years.
SPLASH Day Camp #1

The week will include swimming, archery, low element challenge course, crafts and many fun and exciting games. Experience the wonders to be found in Nature’s Classroom as you explore the trails, wildflower meadows, butterfly breeding program and shoreline marsh. No need to pack a lunch; we will make one for you.
Teen Night

Camp will be open tonight from 6pm-10pm for those ages 14+ who want a place to connect and have some Friday night fun. Enjoy some snacks, games, an evening swim, beach bonfire, and good people. Register online ahead of time so that we have all of your important details. The gate will open at 6pm for drop offs and again at 9:45pm for pick ups.
Adult volunteers will be on site for supervision.
Overnight Adventure Camp

Seedlings One Night Camp

All Girls Week Overnight Camp

This is one of our most popular weeks. Designed to build self-esteem and strong friendships, this camp gives campers the opportunity to challenge themselves in a safe, inclusive environment. Campers will experience all of the wonderful activities and outdoor adventures that Lambton Centre offers all while being mentored by great staff and community partners. Swimming, campfires, canoeing, crafts, drama, nature’s classroom, low elements challenge course and much more. This week promises to be full of energy, joy, excitement, and friendships.

Jr. High Camp

Grab your friends and bring them along to our new Jr. High Camp. Two nights and three days of energy, excitement and surprises! If you love summer, friends, ice cream and glowsticks, this is definitely the camp for you. Experience traditional camp activities like swimming and archery, as well as some new adventures that may involve foam and a disco ball (you’ll have to be there to find out!)
Discovery Overnight Camp

Explore the Arts Overnight Camp

Campers will have their creativity inspired as they explore different creative mediums. Thanks to funding from the Creative County grant, this camp week will include on-site professional artists to lead workshops in drama, dance and visual art. Special guests will also be coming in to lead workshops and put on performances. These activities are in addition to camp favourites like swimming, archery, gaga ball, geocaching, nature’s classroom, canoeing, and campfires.
Sports Spectacular Overnight Camp
