Many Different Ways For You To Help
Lambton Centre is a registered, not-for-profit charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our mission is to enrich the lives of children and their families through camping. We accomplish this through our unique outdoor education, summer camp, trailer park and rental facilities.
Our organization relies on the generosity of donors for our continuing operation. Approximately 20% of the camp’s operating budget comes through contributions from individuals, corporate donors, and from occasional project-specific fundraising and government grants.
We are very grateful to all of our donors. Your support, at any level, will help make a difference in terms of world-class environmental programming, and models for responsible and sustainable living.
Other Ways To Get Involved
Lambton Centre would not be where is it today without the support of its community. If there is another way you think you could help out Lambton Centre feel free to reach out to us. Whether you are a student looking for your community service hours, you are a senior looking for a social activity or anything in between we would appreciate all of your support.
Below you will find some other ways that you can get involved with Lambton Centre.

Ontario Trillium Foundation
In 2021, Lambton Centre received a $52,400 Resilient Community Fund grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation for needed upgrades to our facilities in response to the impact of COVID-19 and to create a safer environment for campers. The main feature of the upgrade was the construction of an open-design picnic pavilion to facilitate outdoor dining and activities which would previously have been held indoors.
Additional improvements included new windows and ventilation in the cabins. Portable handwashing stations and a water bottle refill station.
Optimist Club of Lambton Central- Petrolia
