Who do you say I am?
Lambton Centre’s AGM, is this Sunday, Jan. 21st. We’ll start with lunch at 12:30pm followed by the meeting. The meeting will be held at Camlachie United.
Reasons we need everyone to attend our AGM:
- Lunch will be delicious.
- There will be music (and maybe dancing…who knows).
- Giant post-it notes will be in action.
- Lots of great folks to connect with (and me, I’ll be there).
But also…
- This is a shared ministry. Representation from your congregation and leadership matters.
- A quorum of 25 United Church members is needed (believe it or not, sometimes this has been a challenge).
We are still seeking…
- A lovely and inspired clergy person (all of you really) to consider joining (re-joining?) the board.
- Someone who knows and loves HR
- Someone who knows and loves sharing legal info
- Someone who knows and loves property/building/demolishing
Our board is entering an amazing time of strategic planning and growth. Progressive, abundant, growth and innovative mindsets should hop on board (total pun intended). We meet once a month via Zoom, and aim to meet in person every few months. Outside of this, the time commitment is flexible based on what you are able to do to support and be part of the community at Lambton Centre.
